Wednesday April 4, 2018 Delphi Club!

I should have updated my end of Argentina because we are now in Abaco in the Bahamas! Steve and I love to stay at Delphi-Bahamas.com . There is a full house of 16 guests, plus staff and family members so my posts from Argentina will have to wait until I return home. Not sure how much posting as we all want to be on the wifi at once, and the signal won’t like that at all. No, not at all!

Here is our room. We always seems to stay in room number 4. We were once upstairs, but I was a grumpy grunts and got pissed at Steve as I thought he was ignoring me, so we don’t stay there anymore. Plus, those two rooms are in great demand, they are only available when occupancy levels are low. Steve does not like it when there are a lot of guests, he is quite possessive of the place and thinks it is his. That’s what happens when you come in December and there are fewer guests!

Anyway, we started our morning at 4:30 to get our car service at 5 to get to the airport in White Plains. It is such a pleasure flying out of White Plains, it only takes us an hour to get to the airport, and it is really small. We took off in a timely manner. Steve amused me as he asked if there was food on the plane, maybe an omelette? I looked at him and said, “We’re not flying business class any longer dear!” We got our Terra Blue chips and a cup of coffee. We landed in Fort Lauderdale and had to switch terminals. I hate that, but it is what it is. They changed the security a bit, the lines were at a crawl. I think we had a new employee trying to read the X-ray screen. After we passed through security, I got a peak at the new ad with David Gandy in it. Now who in the world goes skiing in a bra and snow pants? Who goes skiing with his jacket almost off? Well, David Gandy does, if Dolce and Gabbana pays him to! And so would you, if you got to ski with David Gandy!

Just as we were ready to board our plane, it started to pour! Yikes! So much for beautiful Florida sunshine! This was our plane, it was little and a bit noisy, but it got us to Marsh Harbour. When we landed, it was pouring again, and Steve’s clothes got a little wet through his duffle bag. I have one of those big plastic suitcases and my clothes remained nice and dry! This is room number four, the other rooms downstairs all look similar, some have twin beds, and some have kings.

I am most exicted as Peter’s wife Jane has arrived today. It seems that she heard that we were going to be guests and decided that she needed to be part of my blogfest. Now that is a devoted follower, I have my own cheering section! I need to stress how big a deal this is, Jane lives in England and has arranged her calender to hang out and see first hand, that my reporting is absolutely true!

One amazing fact this week as there are three men named Steve here! One goes by Steven, that will help avoid confusion. One time there were three Linda’s and that was quite fun!

While I hung out at the pool and then visited Peter and Max who were watching soccer on the telly, Steve went fishing from the beach. He caught his first trigger fish! This was one of the fish he had wanted to catch in the Maldives and failed. This is not Steve, it’s a picture I found on the internet, but that’s similar to what he caught, but Steve’s was a little smaller.

Have you ever been to the Bahamas? Where did you stay?

Have you ever posed for a picture with David Gandy? If you did, did you faint?

Do you think that Trigger fish are ugly? I do!
